Description	This unusual Westfalia camper has just been purchased by Route 9 autos and will soon be in a container and on the way from California. Completely solid and with a full interior this van was stored away 6 years with less than 2000 miles on the clock since it had a brand new engine. Estimated arrival will be June and I will post more details when I have them. Dave *UPDATE 27/07/09*  I travelled down to the docks last week and collected this little beauty so it is now here and check out the new photos to get an idea of how sorted this van is. A solid van with a great interior. The story from the seller is that the engine was replaced in 2001 but the following year failed to meet the very strict Californian smog test. Parked up ever since with only around 2000 miles on the new engine before being purchased by Route 9 Autos. Have a look at the pictures of the engines underside and you will see that this rings true going by how clean everything is. The price below is for the van as it stands just now but in the next couple of weeks it will be MOT'd and registered with the price adjusted accordingly. If you want to buy it and do the work yourself then get in touch quickly before it goes as these vans dont hang about for long. Dave. *Update 21/10/09* Its been a while since I updated the site due to technical problems but the wires are now uncrossed and were back online. This van is now at the workshop for its MOT and will come with 12 months MOT, tax and be registered for the price listed. If you are in the Bathgate area this weekend the the van will be at the VW indoor trade fare on Sunday 25th. Dave. *UPDATE 07/01/10* Happy new year everybody. This van is now fully MOT'd which involved replacing the fuel lines, re-building the brakes, re-building the centre steering pivot on the front axle, replacing the wiper motor, reconditioning the alternator and rewiring the lighting to UK specification. Dave. *UPDATE 21/03/10* Just taken a deposit on this van so its days on this page of the website are numbered. *UPDATE 03/03/10* now been driven to its new owners in Newcastle.
